Been there-Done that! & still I ponder over how I will light up the model's face on tomorrow's shoot that will be distinctive & unusual. I rummage through Portrait painters through the ages, glance at the rain pour a grey sheen over my window, & gulp steamy tea by the dozen.
The light this morning as the sun rose beckoned me to grade a feature golden. I await that moment. While some time back in Darjeeling, the bluish red mountains spoke a different but as arresting a tone.
Feature scripts have a particular hue as they sit atop one another on my desk. The advertising scripts on the other hand are all coded-story boards in crayons & watercolor.
But
tomorrow I have a face to shoot like a product shot… & despite all the homework, there will be some surprise that I will
have to work around to turn to my advantage…
